CAT MUSEUM, SARAWAK

 The Kuching’s Cat Museum is the first museum of its kind in the world. It is managed by Kuching North City Hall and has collection of Cat artifacts acquired from the National Museum which displayed them in one of its galleries in Kuala Lumpur. These collections were bought to Kuching City by the Sarawak Museum and displayed for the first time on 1st August 1988 at the Dewan Tun Abdul Razak.




 Cat Museum or Muzium Kucing Kuching is located in Kuching, Sarawak, in East Malaysia. It is located on the Ground Floor of the Kuching North City Hall Headquarters Building where the building is situated in Bukit Siol, Jalan Semariang, Petra Jaya. The museum is situated on the hill of Bukit Siol, around 60 meters above sea level.





 
To get to the Cat Museum, take the bus - Petra Jaya Transport No. 2B or 2C anywhere in the city. You can also drive to the museum. Firstly, drive to Satok Suspension Bridge, and then drive to Normah Medical Centre. Then, turn to Jalan Semariang and head to the DBKU.
